The valley of Orozko is surrounded by mountains and crossed by two important rivers such as the Arnauri and the Altube which are joined in the quarter of Kantarrana. Later this river union flows into the Nervion river in Areta.

But the particularity of this municipality is given by the mass of the Gorbea. The mass of Gorbea was declared Natural Park by the Basque covernment in July of 1994, being the largest park of the Autonomous Basque Community, with an extension of 20016 hectares.
