During the modern Age the Valley of Orozko has got a special municipal model among all of the rest of municipality of vizcaya. One of the difference was, until 1782, his dependence on the jurisdictional lordship, taking part of The House of the Ayala's from the XII century, due to the marriage of his lady, Alberta Sánchez of Orozko with the Lord of Ayala, until the 2nd. Of April of 1785, after many centuries of familiar inheritances snd important lawsuits, Orozko returned to the General Board of Vizcaya with an only bench, althought it also had got representation in the Merindades Board.
